THE bar manager of an landmark pub in Ilkley has appealed for help after thieves swiped tables and chairs from the beer garden.
Three dark brown wicker-style tables and two chairs were stolen from The Cow and Calf pub in Hangingstone Road at about 3.30am on Friday.
Staff have now asked for the public's help in tracking down the furniture, including making an appeal on the Ilkley Chat page on Facebook, after the patio was left virtually empty.
James Roulston, bar manager, said: "Hundreds of people sit out there.
"We don't tie down our furniture. It makes you think twice about leaving stuff outside.
"This is not something you expect to happen around here."
Anyone who can help should contact the pub on 01943 607335.
