A MORRISONS supermarket employee has this afternoon been cleared by a jury of raping a drunken woman.
Adam Brown, 23, was alleged to raped the woman after she had been sick on a night out and he had taken her back to a friend's home.
Mr Brown, of Buttershaw Road, Bradford denied the charge.
The prosecution had alleged that the woman was drunk after sharing three bottles of wine with a friend and consuming a couple of Applesourz shots.
During cross-examination by prosecutor Nicholas Askins Mr Brown accepted he had previously suggested to the woman that they could have a "friends with benefits" relationship, but she had laughed it off.
The trial started on Monday.
