A WOMAN was last night being quizzed by detectives investigating the attempted mugging of a 94-year-old woman in Heckmondwike.
The suspect, aged 37, was arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery in Croft Street at about 2pm on Friday, May 15.
Last week police put out a CCTV image in the hope people would come forward to track the suspect.
The victim, who kept hold of her bag in the struggle, was pulled to the ground and left shaken on the footpath that leads to Morrisons supermarket from the town centre.
