POLICE are appealing for information after distinctive watches and jewellery stolen in a burglary in Rastrick, Brighouse.
An 18ct gold Swiss wrist watch with a brown crocodile strap and pin buckle, and an engraved gold Tissot watch, were taken, as well as some jewellery.
It happened in Badger Hill at some point between May 10 and 13, said police.
Detective Constable Craig Aubrey, of Calderdale CID, said: "A number of pieces of distinctive jewellery and watches were taken, some of which had significant sentimental value to the victim.
"I would also appeal to anyone that may have seen the items for sale, or who has been invited to buy the items, to come forward. I also would encourage anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious, or who has witnessed unknown people or vehicles in the vicinity to come forward. Enquiries are ongoing."
