Police helicopter called for suspects caught on building roof
THE police helicopter was scrambled after two men were spotted on the roof of a building during a burglary at a business in Heckmondwike.
Police were called to an industrial unit on Grove Mills at 5.25am on Monday, to reports of a burglary. Officers chased one man on foot but lost him in the Cemetery Road area.
A police spokesman said inquiries were ongoing and CCTV was being reviewed.
Anyone who witnessed any part of the incident, or who has any information about those responsible, is asked to contact Batley and Spen neighbourhood policing team on 101.
