WORK on Bradford College’s new £10 million Advanced Technology Centre has been completed.

The centre will offer up to 650 students the chance to develop skills in areas in advanced technologies including Robotics and 3D printing.

It will open its doors in September.

BAM Construction, the appointed contractor, handed over the keys of the development to Bradford College today.

The work has been financed by the Skills Funding Agency, the technology building is built on the Alexandra car park, adjacent to the College’s main Great Horton Road campus.

Ronan O'Beirne, Bradford College's director of learning, development and research, (pictured with Jonathan Conway of BAM, left), said: "The centre will also provide a key link and subsidised accommodation for established small businesses and start-ups."
