WARMER weather has prompted police to warn crowds heading to Bradford city centre to keep an eye on their bags and be aware of suspicious characters.
Insp Andy Gallant said: "As we move toward the warmer months, Bradford’s city centre attracts larger crowds as the events season gets underway. I would like to remind those enjoying themselves that they need to be considerate to others around them and also to be aware of suspicious characters that may take the opportunity to steal your valuable belongings.
"In 2014 the City Centre saw a reduction in this type of crime but I need the public of Bradford to secure bags and belongings and to be vigilant when visiting this growing environment."
