THOUSANDS of people had fun in the sun at the 139th annual Keighley Gala today.
A procession through the streets of the town was followed by a wide range of family entertainment and Victoria Park was turned into a giant fun fair.
Attractions included a water ducking pool and music from 1940s-inspired singer Kitty Le Mare, but it was Gala Queen Emily Coleman who took centre stage.
Shona Brunskill, vice-chairman of the Keighley Charity Gala Committee, said: "The weather being perfect has helped too. The procession was excellent.
"We have been working to take it back to where it used to be."
The event kicked off last night with the return of the annual fireworks display.
