The M606 motorway into Bradford was partially blocked by a two-vehicle collision this morning.

The incident, involving a grey Toyota Avensis and a silver BMW, occurred on the northbound carriageway at around 8.40am.

Traffic was delayed between Junction 2, at the Euroway Trading Estates, and Junction 3, the A6036 Staygate Roundabout.

A police spokesman said an ambulance was called to scene as a precautionary measure to treat a female passenger in one of the vehicles.

Her injuries are not thought to be serious.

Both vehicles were damaged in the collision.

The road was cleared just after 9am.
