A MAN has died in hospital from serious head injuries suffered in an assault in Yeadon.
The 52 year-old had been in The Aviator pub on Yeadon High Street, when a separate altercation took place minutes before he was assaulted in the street.
The incident took place at about 12.45am on Sunday, and the man died in Leeds General Infirmary yesterday.
Vincent Greaves, 24, of Silver Cross Way, Guiseley, has been charged with the manslaughter of the man, and is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court this morning.
Detectives are still keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident itself or the circumstances leading up to it.
