Firefighters tackle large grass fire
FIREFIGHTERS have been tackling a large grass fire in Penfold Lane, Rastrick.
Crews from Huddersfield, Elland and Dewsbury used two wildfire blowers, two water jets and four water backpacks to put out the fire, which spanned an area of about 150 sq metres.
Numerous calls reporting the fire were made by the public just after 7pm yesterday.
