A CAR'S bonnet was crumpled in an accident involving a deer on a busy road.
The front panel of the lime green Ford curled back on itself due to the impact of the accident, which happened at around 10am today.
The car's two front airbags were also set off in the accident, which happened on the bypass towards Keighley.
The car is thought to be a write-off such was the damage caused.
The driver pulled into a lay-by near the first roundabout past Bingley.
A passerby said the animal was killed in the accident.
"It looks like the driver had a very lucky escape though," he added.
A police spokesman said he could not find any record of police being called to the incident.
A similar accident happened on the same stretch of road on Wednesday, April 29.
