A MAN fled a blaze at his flat in Shipley yesterday.
The fire, at Mill View, broke out in the attic of the two-bedroom property at about 11.20pm.
The man, 22, was uninjured, said a fire service spokesman. Crews from Shipley tackled the fire, which was caused by an electrical fault in a light cable.
A fire service spokesman said roof trusses were damaged by the flames, and that there was smoke damage throughout the flat.
