THE David Hockney Building at Bradford College has been nominated for a number of awards.

It is on the shortlist for the BIM4SME awards, Concrete Society Awards, West Yorkshire LABC Building Excellence awards, and the Construction News awards.

Matthew Hutton, associate director for Bond Bryan Architects and the man behind the design of the campus, said: "These awards are focused on our inter-operability testing, promotion of open solutions and how we are embedding it into the business.

"It's fantastic for the entire project team, involved in the design and construction of the building, to begin to be recognised for the stellar work that has been completed at the David Hockney Building. Commitment to teamwork from the beginning, and a clear vision, led to this project being a pleasure to work on, which resulted in a brilliant end product."

The building has also been selected to feature on the front of the Graphisoft ArchiCAD 19 box cover and CD packaging. It will be released globally on June 3.
