BRADFORD College’s new state-of-the-art £10 million Advanced Technology Centre will be completed early next month.
BAM Construction, the contractor that led on the development of the new multi-million pound campus off Great Horton Road, will be handing over the keys of the development to the college on June 8 ready for a September opening.
Commissioned by the College and financed by the government's Skills Funding Agency, the three-story 3,600m2 technology building is built on the Alexandra car park, near the college's new David Hockney Building, and has the capacity for 650 students.

The build has taken 42 weeks.
Ronan O'Beirne, Director of Learning, Development and Research said: “The Centre offers students opportunities to develop skills in advanced technologies such as Robotics and 3D Printing. It will also provide a key link and subsidised accommodation for established small businesses and start-ups.”
The ATC aims to be a leading centre in cutting edge courses and will support skills and knowledge development across in science, technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. Applications are now open.
