POLICE have released an e-fit image of a suspect they want to trace in connection with an aggravated burglary in Bradford.
The offence happened between 10.35am and 10.45am on Saturday, 9 May, after two men forced their way into a family home on Rigton Street, Marshfields.
A 13-year-old boy who was in the kitchen spotted a man through the kitchen door and then ran upstairs and told his mother who was upstairs with her 15-year-old son, and three daughters aged nine, five and five.
At this point the raiders had broken in through the door and on seeing them, the terrified woman locked herself and children in her bedroom.
One of the men came upstairs and demanded the door was opened, but fled shortly afterwards after the mother said she had phoned the police.
Nothing was taken in the incident.
DC Cooper, of Bradford CID, said: "Although nothing was taken and no-one was hurt this was clearly a very distressing incident for this family and we are investigating the circumstances of what has taken place.
"I would ask anyone who has information about this offence, or who can perhaps identify the man in this E-fit to contact Bradford CID on 101.
"Information can also be given to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
