A 52-YEAR-OLD Bradford man, who admitted cannabis offences, will be sentenced by Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC next month.
Joseph Pickles, of Apperley Road, Apperley Bridge, appeared at Bradford Crown Court yesterday and pleaded guilty to producing cannabis and possessing the drug with intent to supply on January 31 this year.
His barrister, Adam Walker, asked for a pre sentence report. He said that, with more than three kilograms of cannabis involved, his client was facing an immediate custodial sentence, but he was not heavily convicted and had no convictions for drugs offences.
Judge Durham Hall said Pickles would have a pre-sentence report and he would sentence him on June 19. He granted him bail but said custody may be unavoidable.
