A JOBLESS roofer has been jailed for four and a half years after he was twice caught street dealing Class A drugs.
Garry Page, 22, had run up a £2,000 debt after becoming addicted to crack cocaine, Bradford Crown Court heard yesterday.
Page, of Crossdale Avenue, Buttershaw, Bradford, was pressured into selling drugs after he and his family were threatened, his barrister Yunus Valli said.
Page (pictured) pleaded guilty to possession of 36 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply in January and possession of £255 as criminal property.
On police bail, he was caught drug dealing in Shipley, on March 11.
Arrested again, he admitted supplying Class A drugs, possession of 63 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply and possession of £100 in criminal money.
Prosecutor Katherine Robinson said Page told the police in January that the drugs were in his underwear.
He said he was selling them at £10 a wrap to pay off a debt.
Page had a previous conviction for burglary but no drugs offences on his record.
Mr Valli said his client was the carer for his ill father.
He became addicted to crack cocaine and began dealing after he lost his job as a roofer.
Page was working as a volunteer for the charity Shelter and was very remorseful about his offending, the court was told.
