A 46-YEAR-OLD man has pleaded guilty to attacking a Bradford garage mechanic with a butcher's knife.
Mohammed Fahad, of Agar Street, Four Land Ends, Bradford, admitted unlawfully wounding the teenager but denied the more serious offence of intending to cause him grievous bodily harm.
Fahad also pleaded guilty to having an article with a blade or point in a public place.
He was remanded back into custody at Bradford Crown Court yesterday to stand trial on Monday, June 8.
Balding, grey-bearded Fahad wore a grey quilted anorak for the short hearing.
Ben Crosland, for the Crown, said the charges involved "an unprovoked attack" on a young mechanic, at Thorn Motors, Girlington, Bradford, on December 29.
