A COMPANY providing 1,800 hours of home care per week across Bradford and Leeds has been praised following a visit from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Care 24-7 Limited, based in Snowden Road, Wrose, received an inspection in February and was rated 'good' across all service areas.
Inspectors said recruitment procedures used to maintain the agency's 100-strong team of care assistants were "robust", also highlighting its policies for the safe administration of medicines in patients' homes.
The CQC report also stated the company had recently introduced a new care planning system that was "person-centred" and reviewed on a regular basis, with staff all aware of the signs and symptoms which may indicate people were possibly being abused, and the appropriate action they needed to take.
Company director Jeanette Emmett said: "We were very pleased with the result of the inspection as it is a very vigorous process, but as a company, we are always trying to improve the care we provide."
