MEMBERS of a disabled cycling club risked saddle sores to complete a 24-hour non-stop ride ahead of a coast-to-coast challenge next month.
Cycling 4 All, based at the University of Bradford Students' Union, raised £2,500 to embark on the 182 miles from Morecambe to Flamborough Head between June 3 and 7, and now wants to raise a further £3,500 to expand the work of the group.
Team members raised £300 towards the cause by completing the 24-hour marathon, which ended with a visit from Ed Anderson, the Deputy High Sheriff of West Yorkshire.
Project co-ordinator Adam Tasker said: "We probably had between 80 and 100 people help us out during the ride, including students who came down throughout the night.

"Everybody really got stuck in, and we're very grateful for their support."
Cycling 4 All started in 2011 as a free disability cycling scheme for students at the university, but has since expanded its services into the wider community, working in partnership with the Youth Service, British Cycling, and Bradford Disability Sport and Leisure.
