Police are investigating
POLICE are investigating after the body of a woman was found in a river in Ilkley today.
A walker called police at about 8.30am after making the discovery in the River Wharfe.
A police spokesman said: "We got a call at about 8.30am to a report of a body in the river.
"We found the body of a woman, but have not been able to identify her yet."
