HALF a century of chart-topping hits are celebrated in The Magic of Motown, which returns to Bradford this month,
"The show features favourites such as I Can’t Help Myself, Tracks of My Tears and It’s the Same Old Song which rocketed artists like The Four Tops, and Smokey Robinson and the Miracles to the top of the charts in 1965," says show producer Michael Taylor. “The Reach Out Tour brings to the stage 36 of these chart toppers back-to-back in one critically-acclaimed production.”
The foot-tapping score also includes hits from the Temptations, Four Tops, Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Lionel Richie and The Supremes.
* Magic of Motown is at St George's Hall on Friday, June 12 at 8pm. For tickets call (01274) 432000.
