Two-lorry crash brings traffic to a standstill at M62 junction
A COLLISION between two HGVs closed a slip road off the M62 and brought traffic to a halt on the Chain Bar roundabout this afternoon.
The incident occurred just before 12.30pm at the bottom of the eastbound slip road at Junction 26 of the motorway.
Police said there were no reports of any injuries, but the collision caused a fuel spillage on the roundabout close to the A58 towards Halifax.
The incident caused severe delays and the sliproad remained closed for an hour.
