POLICE have identified a group of men who hurled "vile" racial abuse at a mother and her young son on a train to Bradford.
The mother was left "shocked and disgusted" by the incident, which happened as she travelled on the 2.10pm service from Leeds, on Saturday, April 25. She sat in a centre carriage with her four-year-old son, before getting off at Shipley.
"The men entered the same carriage at Leeds and immediately began using foul language and chanting football songs. They then began repeatedly using racist language, some of which was directed at the young boy.

PC Craig Virco, of British Transport Police, said: "They ignored the mother’s requests to stop. When she stood up to leave the train, she again challenged the group’s behaviour, only to become the target for more abuse.”
BTP released CCTV images of the suspects, and after witnesses came forward the group has been identified and will be interviewed.
