THE funeral of RFL player Danny Jones will be held tomorrow.
Mr Jones died earlier this month after suffering a heart attack when his team, the Keighley Cougars, was playing their Championship 1 game at London Skolars on Sunday, May 3
The 29-year-old (pictured) leaves his wife, Lizzie, and baby twins, Phoebe and Bobby.
Mrs Jones has said she wants tomorrow's service to be a celebration of the player's life.
"We want people to come in their rugby jerseys and wear bright colours to remember his wonderful fun personality," she said.
The funeral is at St Mary’s Church, Gibbet Street, Halifax, tomorrow at noon.
The wake will follow at Brighouse Rangers ARLFC, Russell Way, Brighouse, Halifax.
Hundreds of people are expected to attend and a PA system will broadcast the service outside the church for those who cannot get in.
A memorial fund set up by the RFL Benevolent Fund in the Welsh international's name has so far raised £148,000 which will be put in a trust fund for Mr Jones' children.
