BRADFORD'S Paralympic table tennis champion Oye Jemiyo is hoping to raise funds to help him on the road to Rio.
The player, who has been confined to a wheelchair since the age of two after contracting polio, has taken another step in his bid to represent Britain in the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro next year when he returned from the Draycott Para Open National Grand Prix Tournament with two gold medals.
A wheelchair player, Oye had victories against higher classification players to take the singles gold. He paired up with Barnsley-based Mike Prendergast to take gold in the Open Wheelchair event where they again beat higher ranked opposition in the final.
