DRIVERS have been warned to expect long delays and disruption as resurfacing work starts on Sunday on three main roads into Bradford city centre.
Bradford Council Highways contractors are carrying out the improvements in Allerton Road, Cemetery Road and Thornton Road.
The works on Allerton Road and its Thornton Road junction will take place on Sunday, May 24, and Sunday, May 31.
Allerton Road will be closed, with a diversion via West Park Avenue.
Thornton Road will be kept open, with temporary traffic lights in use.
The resurfacing of Cemetery Road, between Thornton Road and Nicholas Close, will be carried out from Tuesday to Friday next week.
Cemetery Road will be closed with a diversion via Legrams Lane, Ingleby Road and Thornton Road.
