AN INQUEST into the death of a Bradford man who was hit by a car at a bus stop was opened and adjourned yesterday.
Amarjit Singh, 61, died in hospital on May 1, ten days after the incident involving a Honda Jazz in Littleborough.
Mr Singh, of Busfield Street, Bowling, was standing at a bus stop in Todmorden Road when a car mounted the pavement and struck him at about 2.10pm on Tuesday, April 21.
He was taken to hospital where he was treated for a head injury, but died days later.
The inquest was opened and adjourned by Michael Salt, Assistant Coroner for Greater Manchester North, and is scheduled to be concluded on July 30 at Rochdale Coroner's Court.
