A BRADFORD nursery has been named the most recommended nursery in Yorkshire and the sixth in the UK.

Kinder Haven on Halifax Road came sixth out of more than 10,000 nurseries in the UK and first out of 967 nurseries in the Yorkshire & The Humber based on recommendations from website daynurseries.co.uk.

The award was based on the nursery’s recommendations from the children’s families and carers.

Davina Ludlow, Director of daynurseries.co.uk, said: "It is a fantastic achievement to be recognised as a highly recommended nursery by the families and carers of the children that attend the setting.

“Their recommendations show the warmth and excellent care that exists in so many day nurseries.

“The first five years of a child’s life are vital in shaping the adult they will become, which is why we decided to recognise those nurseries which are playing such an important part in our children’s lives.”

Cherelle Webster, manager at the nursery, said: “This is fantastic news. We are so happy to achieve this along with our Outstanding OFSTED rating, thank you to all parents and carers who have took the time to recommend us, there are some wonderful comments that we are very proud of.”

Kinder Haven celebrated further success with 3 more award for Kinder Haven nurseries. Kinder Haven @ Sticker Lane was awarded second in Yorkshire & The Humber and Kinder Haven @ Wakefield Road was awarded third place. Whilst Kinder Haven @ Waterloo Road was recognised in tenth.
