Delays on M62 near Bradford after lorry loses a wheel
A STRANDED lorry is causing delays on the M62 near Bradford after it lost a wheel.
Two lanes of the eastbound carriageway between junctions 26 (Chain Bar) and 27 (Gildersome) were blocked as a result.
The lorry, which had lost a back wheel, is stuck in the middle lane, said police. It happened just before 9am.
Earlier this morning, one lane of the M62 was briefly closed following a crash between a van and a car.
A white Ford Transit and a white Ford Focus collided in lane three of the westbound carriageway between junction 27 (Gildersome) and 26 (Chain Bar).
Police said no-one was injured and that the lane was clear eight minutes after the crash, which happened at about 8am.
