Officers at the scene of a crash that has closed two lanes of the M62
MOTORISTS are currently facing delays on the eastbound M62 after a multi-vehicle accident closed two lanes of the motorway.
All lanes have now reopened.
The incident occurred after 2.30pm between between Junction 26 at Chain Bar and Junction 27 at Gildersome.
Police said the collision had involved a car and a male motorcyclist, who was checked over by emergency services at the scene.
His injuries are not thought to be serious.
One of the lanes has now re-opened, but delays of up to 40 minutes are still being reported for traffic travelling towards Leeds from Brighouse.
Highways England said eastbound traffic could be affected until 4.45pm.
