A BRADFORD man has made his first appearance in court accused of kidnapping and imprisoning a woman for three days.
Eamonn Jarvis, 39, of Woodroyd Road, West Bowling, appeared at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court yesterday after being arrested by police earlier this week.
He did not enter any pleas to charges of the kidnap and false imprisonment of Melanie Dunn and assaulting her causing actual bodily harm.
The charges relate to an alleged incident at a house in Woodroyd Road between May 7 and 10.
Chairman of the bench, Diane Craven, adjourned the case and granted Jarvis conditional bail ahead of a hearing at Bradford Crown Court on May 27.
