A 29-YEAR-OLD Bradford man, who pleaded guilty to drugs offences, was granted bail by a judge so he could organise care for his grandmother.
Khazim Ahmed, 29, of Old Park Road, Thorpe Edge, pleaded guilty at Bradford Crown Court today to producing a class A drug, crack cocaine; being concerned in the supply of heroin and cocaine; and possessing a class B drug, cannabis.
Ahmed's barrister, Angus McDonald, applied for his sentencing to be adjourned.
He said: "He is the sole carer for his grandmother. He wants a short period of time to arrange her care."
Judge David Hatton QC adjourned the case until May 26. He granted Ahmed unconditional bail but told him a custodial sentence was "almost inevitable."
Ahmed will be sentenced with a co-defendant, Aaron Russell, 24, of no fixed address, who has admitted drugs offences.
