AN INQUEST into the death of a Bradford man who was hit by a car at a bus stop will be opened in Rochdale next week.
Amarjit Singh, 61, died in hospital on May 1, ten days after the incident involving a Honda Jazz in Littleborough.
Mr Singh was standing at a bus stop in Todmorden Road when a car mounted the pavement and struck him at about 2.10pm on Tuesday, April 21.
He was taken to hospital where he was treated for a head injury, but died days later.
The inquest on Tuesday, May 19, is expected to be opened and adjourned pending further inquiries.
