YOUNG fundraisers behind a sponsored walk later this month for Bradford Hospitals' Charity are hoping it will be a 'roaring' success.
The district's newest Leo Club - the youth arm of Lions Clubs International - set up at the Dixons Kings Academy in Northside Road, Bradford, is organising the 5k event on at Lister Park in Manningham on Sunday, May 24.
People are now being encouraged to sign up, said Amin Dada, who founded the Bradford Central Lions Club in 2013 and was asked to help set up the latest Leo club.
"We are getting a good response from people so far but look forward to hearing from more who want to come and join us on the day," he added.
At the club's its inaugural meeting, 75 members were formally inducted and it became only the second Leo Club in Yorkshire, alongside a similar group in Todmorden in Calderdale.
