A PROSTITUTE robbed a partially blind man in a row over payment for sexual services, Bradford Crown Court heard.
Nicole Preston grabbed £20 in the struggle with 62-year-old Bashir Ullah who was injured when he fell to the ground.
Mr Ullah, who is blind in one eye and has serious health problems, invited Preston to his room when they were both staying at The New Beehive Inn on Westgate, Bradford, on November 10, prosecutor Camille Morland said today.
Preston, a drug addict and heavy drinker, was working as a prostitute and there was a row over payment, Miss Morland said.
Preston, 38, seized £20 and ran off, leaving Mr Ullah with minor cuts and bruising to his head and hand.
He was treated in hospital and now lived in a nursing home, the court was told.
Preston, formerly of Beckside Road, Lidget Green, Bradford, but now in prison on remand, was on bail at the time after fighting with another woman at The New Beehive Inn on June 29 last year.
She pulled Deborah Yates's hair, slapped and punched her in a row over a man.
Preston pleaded guilty to causing Miss Yates actual bodily harm and robbing Mr Ullah.
Her barrister, Andrew Semple, said she had been remanded in custody for four months.
Her previous convictions for robbery dated back ten years.
She had no fixed address and she was an acute diabetic.
Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC adjourned the case to a date to be fixed to obtain more information about Preston before he sentenced her.
