A RANGE Rover parked on the driveway of a house in Bingley was targeted by arsonists early today.
Firefighters who were called to the blaze in Dobb Kiln Lane at about 1.30am said the owners of the vehicle had tried to put out the flames with jugs of water.
A spokesman at Bingley fire station said: "It is suspected malicious ignition. We believe the car will be salvageable because we got there fairly quick to stop it spreading."
He added that the burning car was parked close to the house and to other vehicles, including a Bentley.
"It could easily have been a lot worse," he said.
No-one was injured by the fire.
