A MAGNIFICENT SEVEN hair salons in Shipley rallied round to help a beauty business known for its charity work when it found itself without a home Redheadz salon, Shipley, which last year raised £1,000 for victims of domestic violence, was due to move from its Westgate shop to new premises in Thomas Duggan House.
But confusion with contractors meant the business had to leave its shop of 16 years with nowhere to go – risking losing valuable clients.
“Due to unforeseen delays we were left high and dry, but seven Shipley hairdressers came to our rescue,” said boss Claire Wilkinson.
“They gave us chairs in their shops so our staff could keep working and we didn’t lose our customers.
“So a big thanks to everyone for their help and it feels like doing our bit for charity has somehow come round to help us when we needed it.”
