TERRY Singh - the manager of Bradford and District RSPCA - has decided to retire.
Mr Singh took over the role at the Mount Street branch two years ago. Before that he worked for Bradford Council’s dog warden service, serving in the role of dog animal services manager.
But after spending more than 45 years in animal welfare, he has decided that it is now time to retire.
“I have worked over 45 years in animal welfare. The time is now right to retire, whilst in good health, and enjoy life with my family,” he said.
Jan Robertshaw, vice president and chairman of Bradford and District RSPCA, says: “During the last two years Terry has been invaluable in significantly raising the profile of the Branch, his dedication, commitment and passion have injected new life into the development and upgrading of the facilities.
“He has been paramount in enlisting the help and support of local businesses and organisations.”
