PREPARATIONS for the Build A Roof fundraiser in Cross Roads, Keighley, are well under way.
The June 6 event, set to take place on June 6, from 11.30am, will offer activities for all ages to raise money to repair the roof at St James’s Church in the village.
The headline attractions will be two stages of live music in the church, along with face-painting, stilt-walking, and a Bechamel Market cafe.
Bluefruit Promotions is organising the event, which will run from 11.30am. Admission will be £1.
Bluefruit spokesman Nathan Harrison said the acoustic stage was fully booked and there were few slots left for the main stage.
He has spent the past few months looking for bands, and preferred those playing covers or tuneful original songs.
He said: “We’re getting a good response from a lot of people and getting a good collection of gift donations.”
Anyone wishing to get involved, or donate money, should Email Nathan at bluefruitpromotions@gmail.com or call 07793088850 to get involved or to donate.
