BRADFORD Bulls will donate proceeds from the club's upcoming Poker Evening to the family of Keighley Cougars star Danny Jones, who died on Sunday.
The Poker Evening makes up a part of ‘Robbie’s Big 10’ – a Bradford Bulls Foundation initiative running throughout the course of 2015.
Monday’s Poker Evening, being held in conjunction between the Bradford Bulls Foundation and Grosvenor Casino, Bradford, was originally designed to raise funds for The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and the Foundation itself.
But Trustees have now agreed that the Foundation’s fundraising split will be donated to the Danny Jones Fund, meaning 100 per cent of the proceeds will be donated.
Bulls chief executive and Foundation trustee Robbie Hunter-Paul said: “Although I didn’t personally know Danny, having played against him on numerous occasions, it certainly brings it a lot closer to home.
“The fact he leaves behind his wife and baby twins is utterly devastating.
“The rugby league community has rallied, raising huge funds for to support his family and we as a club and the Bulls Foundation play our part in that.”

Meanwhile, the club has put a fundraising bucket for Mr Jones inside the Provident Stadium’s Team Shop.
