CHANCELLOR George Osborne visited Pudsey for the second time in five weeks yesterday, as the battle over the key marginal entered its final days.
Mr Osborne called in to transformer manufacturer Winder Power, as part of a 24-hour tour of the country from north to south.
His tour started in Berwick yesterday and finishes on the south coast today, with Pudsey being the third stop-off.
Pudsey is being billed as one of the most crucial battlegrounds between Labour and the Conservatives in this year's General Election, with the fight between Conservative incumbent Stuart Andrew and Labour's Jamie Hanley being described as too close to call by bookmakers.
