POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a pensioner suffered serious head injuries in an accident with a Toyota 4x4 as he crossed Harrogate Road, Greengates, Bradford.
The incident, involving a 67-year-old man, happened last Saturday at about 9.45am near the junction with New Line.
He was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The Toyota Hilux had turned right on to Harrogate Road from New Line shortly before the incident.
PC Matthew Judge, of The Western Area Roads Unit at West Yorkshire Police, said: "We are appealing for information regarding this incident and would like to speak anyone who saw the collision, the male or the car just before it took place."
Anyone with information should call the non-emergency number on 101.
