PEOPLE who want to re-open Haworth’s mothballed fire station as an emergency services hub now have more time to draw up detailed proposals.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Authority’s community safety committee has agreed to not market the property (pictured) for sale until the end of July.
Friends of Haworth and Worth Valley Fire Station's steering group member John Huxley said itthe delay would gives him and his colleagues time to submit atheir own bid forto run the building.
