Woman fails to turn up in brothel case
A YOUNG Romanian woman, who admitted keeping a brothel in Bradford, failed to turn up for her sentence yesterday.
Dorina Teodorescu, 20, of Cemetery Road, Lidget Green, was due to be sentenced at Bradford Crown Court but did not arrive. Judge Mark Savill issued a warrant for her arrest.
Teodorescu pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to keeping a brothel used for prostitution at Upper Woodlands Road, Girlington, on February 8, 2014. The court heard that a pre-sentence probation report had been ordered, but not yet done.
