Arrest over power issue
A MAN, 40, was arrested on suspicion of tampering with gas and electricity meters at a house in Harrogate Road, Eccleshill, Bradford.
Officers in the Eccleshill Neighbourhood Policing Team and representatives from an energy-supply company executed a warrant under the Gas and Electricity Board Act after receiving a tip-off.
The man was arrested for abstracting electricity, theft, criminal damage and fraud and a number of items were seized from the property. He was granted bail pending further inquiries.
