ENTERPRISING school children have raised money towards new playground equipment by selling handmade bracelets.
Pupils at Thorpe Primary Schoo, in Albion Road Idle, busily spent six weeks making loom band creations.
Inclusion mentor Michelle Fletcher said the creations were “wonderful”.
She added: “Some of our designers held a sale in school and after speaking with our school council decided they would like to donate their profits towards purchasing some new playground equipment for them to enjoy.”
“We are very proud of them!”
