ANY household goods of any size that aren't wanted are desperately wanted by the British Heart Foundation’s furniture and electrical store in Bradford.
The BHF is appealing to local residents to have a clear out and donate items such as sofas, beds, dining tables, wardrobes and TVs.
Profits raised from donations will go into the fight against heart disease and fund the BHF’s lifesaving research.
Coronary heart disease is one of the UK’s biggest killers and last year BHF shops raised over £31 million. Donations, which are vital to the charity, are desperately needed so that BHF researchers can continue their search for breakthroughs to beat heart disease.
BHF Area Manager, Jenny Watts, says, “We absolutely rely on the support of the local community in Bradford to keep us running and without their generous donations we risk reducing funding for vital research into heart disease.
“If each household were willing to spend just half an hour having a clear out they would be helping to save lives. “It really is as simple as that!” She said.
The Bradford BHF store is located at 50-54 Westgate, Bradford, BD1 2RD. To book a free collection for your unwanted items please call 01274 354975 or visit bhf.org.uk/free.
