HARD work funded by a £50,000 grant has just started on new footpaths, a children’s timber trail and fresh signage at Prince of Wales Park, Bingley.
Cash from waste recycling group WREN is now being used by Friends of Prince of Wales Park after the group raised ten per cent of the total.
Friends spokesman Allan Mirfield (pictured) said it was an exciting development in the park’s 150 year history.
“We’ve put considerable time into preparing everything for the major investment and improvement to take place and now it’s finally starting to happen,” he said.
